"I booked this hotel by mistake. I meant to book the one in Ithaca. We made the 40 minute drive here, and were glad we did. When I first got the key and our room number, my heart sank. First floor, right by the lobby and ice machine. But our room was very nice. It had a spacious bathroom and a sitting room separate from the bedroom and divided by French doors. The parking lot does not go around the building and our room backed to open space. The noise in the hallway was not an issue. It wasn’t very loud, and we had the French door to close and there was a fan between the two rooms that provided white noise. We slept quite well. "

I decided at that time that I would not stay again; however, the more recent reviews were much better than the same timeframe last year, so we gave it another try. Our stay was quite pleasant this time. The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
