"This is a lovely hotel. Lots of space and fabulous views of the local countryside. The rooms are boutique style and the bed was comfy. Quite a basic breakfast but everything was good quality and hot. I will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the bar's outside space"

"Three 50 lads enjoyed a night at brewery here and then a night out in the toon. Great size room for 3 and for price was great value! Full English Breakfast was ok but I’d say a tad pricey. Staff in bar were fab. "

"Great place to stay located about 15 minutes from the train station (about half an hour from The Gate and the bus station) the hotel is just off a main road behind Newcastle College. Wasily accessible on foot, the hotel offers a good nights stay away from the noise in the centre of town. The service was excellent, the room comfortable and the breakfast 'grab and go bag' was a nice touch. The hotel took a bit of finding, even with a satnav and an awareness of the City but it is effectively one long road from the train station to the hotel and it is worth seeking out for a great value stay. Customer service was excellent."
