"Perfect place for a bachelor party if you're looking to spend the majority of your time outdoors. The inside was very nice as well though there is a sign not to flush toilet paper down the only toilet in the house. One of the beds was also crammed into a closet but that was not a big deal as there was still plenty of space for the 7 of us. Overall the stay was very good and the host was timely with all of his responses, would definitely recommend to others!"

"So close to Gallagher farms and the wedding we attended that this cute house also let us explore the Lelanau bike path and down town traverse city. Natural creek in the back yard was perfect to recover from a long run. The house is cute and perfect for our small family with a small doggie. The location was phenomenal and the management was w to our random concerns."

"We were here to hunt so we weren’t actually in the house a ton, but the house is beautiful and the location is great! Might consider coming back up during the warmer season for some golf and lake activities! "

"Property manager was great to communicate with about everything. We love how close this was to downtown Bellaire. If not staying in the summer, water did not get hot in shower. Just as described/pictured and more than met our needs. Pet friendly which helped us so we hope future renters our respectful of the property rules. "

"We just spent Thanksgiving week here with our extended family. The home was so spacious and cozy, and incredibly clean. It had everything we needed. It dumped snow and was so pretty looking over the lake - I can imagine it's glorious in summer. We had a wonderful time! "

"Just 2 of us staying there so there was plenty of space, if there had been more it might have been a little cramped. This place has a really big yard with privacy fence on either side, perfect for our dog to run around in and go for a swim when he wanted to. It was perfect!"

"My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and it was great! The house was super clean and it was very secluded and quiet, which is important to us. Communication with the host was great. Only note is that all bedrooms are upstairs and the only bathroom up there is through the main bedroom, so that could be awkward for multiple couples, but was great for just my husband and I and would be fine for a family with small children. "The house was a perfect getaway. It's a super quiet and peaceful area. My favorite part was having my coffee on the beach every morning. The house itself is a little outdated but everything is fully functional. There's enough space for everyone to stay comfortably and not be on top of each other. We were able to be secluded in a bedroom if needed and all hangout together in the livong spaces when we wanted to. I especially loved the locking gate on the deck stairs so we could hangout on the deck...

"Nice place. Good kitchen and gathering space for the group we had. I missed the note on the listing stating towels were not provided so had to scramble a bit but figured it out. Will consider using again next year. Thanks"

"We go up to northern Michigan every year to go ride the motorcycle trails. Uncle Don's cabin is definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed at. Tons of room, everything you need and right down the road from the trailhead. We would definitely recommend!"

"It was a decompression great away to de-stress. Very peaceful place enjoyed our stay. One thing that could improve is furniture couch end tables needed. Couch was uncomfortable no end tables. Snack tray’s would have helped. Other than that our stay was very pleasant. "

"Our 2nd annual stay at this wonderful home situated in a beautiful location. We enjoyed the spacious living areas including pool table, foosball & hot tub. We spent the days in downtown Traverse City, shopping and wine tasting and then were able to gather back at the house for a fun game night to celebrate Christmas with family. Clean, modernly decorated and well stocked with everything that you'll need for a great stay. We appreciated the snack basket upon arrival! <3 "

"We had a fantastic weekend retreat wine tasting in Leelanau peninsula shopping downtown and the state hospital shops. The resort was comfortable and very accommodating with kitchen and laundry supplies, wood for the fireplace and Beach chairs, and fun games outside. The only concern we have was the traffic in the morning starting at 6:00 AM from the front road. It wasn’t ideal location for wineries and downtown Traverse City."

The space was fantastic for our group of friends, offering plenty of room and lots of thoughtful amenities. CHALET with SUNSETS from a HOT TUB, private acreage, and a DOCKED PONTOON rental

"We had a wonderfully peaceful stay, with two feet of fluffy snow over four nights. The property is absolutely beautiful, a classic northern Michigan landscape. Each day we took several long walks with our dog, over the wide trails and hills, and the rest of the time we read, cooked, and enjoyed the hot tub while snow fell all around. We never left the property until it was time to go. Perfect!"
