"Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you."

"We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. "Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. "

"From our arrival through to our departure, The Birdhouse surpassed our expectations. It's beautifully designed and it's in an amazing location. Kristen and Gregor are perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. There are lots of stunning walks and scenery to explore in Applecross Bay. I highly recommend a stay and hope to return to The Birdhouse one day. "

"This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. The view from the kitchen and lounge over the loch to mountain beyond alone made this one of my most memorable trips."

"Had a really good stay here with the family. It was definitely a true Scottish experience having to use the woodburner to heat the lounge and great that the cottage was up together but traditional. It wasn’t overly modernised but not dated either. Would definitely return. Well positioned for many good walks."
