"Beautiful accommodation and location. Well equipped house, which needed a little decorating. The house was warm and cosy. We loved the drive over the pass down to Glenelg. The lock and view of Skye were spectacular. I loved watching the seals just off shore."

"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."

"The name says it all, what a view. The View is centrally located and allows you to see the other locations on the isle. The house is in an isolated area but the are two restaurants within a short distance. There is a grocery store within a 10 minute ride. Of the 6 different places we stated in Scotland over our 14 day trip, we loved this one the best."

"House was great for family holiday with lots of space and spectacular views. Good location for visiting Skye and surrounding areas. Kids loved the table tennis. Well equipped in some aspects but kitchen could have done with a bit of a deep clean."

From the entertaining boat captain, Gus, to the modern decor of the cottage (with stunning views), this is the perfect destination for family/small-group gatherings or a quiet place to just unwind. "The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

"We had a lovely stay in Kyle at this Vrbo. Good place to be to get to the Isle of Skye. Host was very pleasant. We walked all over town and to the bridge. We only stayed 2 nights. Next time I’d like to stay at least 3."

"After a few issues with the heating (which were resolved by host quickly), we really enjoyed our stay in this traditional cottage. Warm, comfortable, spacious, good views to Skye, host very responsive and helpful."

This really is the view from our bedroom windows on a good day.

"Despite some wild weather at the start of the week, Tigh na Camus was cosy and warm. We will miss the stunning view. The property has everything that you could need. We hope to return next year. A stunning place."

"We found An Gearasdan to be a wonderfully comfortable, warm and modern house. In the most stunning location with views from the house both restful and inspiring. Lovely walks locally and fabulous scenic drives when venturing further afield."

"Its just exactly as advertised. Four on-suite double bedrooms and another room that comfortably has a double bed. Spectacular views over the Loch, seen an otter one morning going about its business just by the shore next to the house. House very well equipped and clean, great showers and a bath in the downstairs double room. So much to see and do around the area, property is in a woodland with walks marked out. Just cant recomend this holiday home enouhg. "

"We had a magical stay at Eaglerock. This is such a special place. It is even more beautiful than the photos. We loved Applecross. The fantastic view of Skye without the crowds. Catherine is a fantastic host. Highly recommend!!"
