"Very central property, very convenient for visiting the city. Not quite the 5* we expected but was ok for one night. Our room was down under ground level with an interesting view over gutter pipes and it was quite noisy - both from inside and outside the hotel. We only booked one night, it is unlikely we would have stayed longer than this."

"We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep.
