"This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The views were spectacular and the staff so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant food was really good, and we loved their breakfast buffet. "You need a transport to get around. There is only 1 small resturant within walking distance if you are not planning to have all yoir meals in the hotel. The nearest dining area is about 20mins drive from the hotel. Oversall it is a very beautiful hotel with large space."
