"We arrived about 7:30 PM (19:30) after a lengthy drive and busy day near Salzburg. The Gaestehaus appears to be on a narrow alley in the middle of the town. We could barely squeeze our small car into the alley, and there appeared to be no place to park. We rang the doorbell and knocked several times, but there was no answer, and the place seemed dead, except for a neighbor lady from across the street, that seemed surprised to see us. "Everything about it is perfect just slightly far away from the centre, an hour walk, 30 mins by tram. other than that it was clean quiet and well looked after. the host is a lovely lady and has some amazing cats in her office."

"Nice apartment. Keys to lift were not received until the last day hence, had to climb up the stairs and down for two days. On a positive note, it was well earned exercise."

"The hotel has charm and is located quite near the historic old town center and within walking distance to the museums; the staff is friendly and helpful; the breakfast buffet is very nice with a wide selection of foods, very authentic Austrian ambiance to the breakfast and the hotel. The short comings are that there is no kettle or fridge with no food services at the hotel except for the breakfast buffet. The nearby restaurants are expensive though there are a few supermarkets within walking distance."

"I liked the modern style and artwork at the hotel. The staff was helpful when I had a need and the general ambiance was quite nice. There was however limited food resources and although there was a restaurant next door, other than that it was a long walk to any other place except for a campus sandwich shop. The breakfast bar was nice but crowded. "
