"The location to Stirling was great. Very quiet. Siri had a hard time finding it (not sure why). Also, we suggested to owners put their number of the side of the house which faces the street since the picture shows the front which is not the street view."

More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. "I had a great weekend. The house was more rustic than what the pictures convey but the house was charming. I felt like i was in the middle of nowhere. Views were beautiful even with the lashing down rain. The wood burner in the living room was perfect to create an atmosphere. The house had everything we needed for a weekend. I did have to contact the owners to check a couple of things and they were great and communicated quickly and resolved all matters. The house could do with a freshen up,...

"We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay. "
