"I had a lovely time at the Angel Hotel. It is located very conveniently right opp Cardiff castle and in the city centre, yet away from the hustle and bustle (noise) of the high street. It is right app Buke Park which is a beautiful large park you can walk, run, cycle in and have a really wonderful time. The River Taff is right there as well. The reception staff was exceptional, so kind and helpful. They stored my bicycle in the reception area overnight for safety, they sweetly printed out some important documents for me on request as well as I needed them urgently. The cleaning staff as well was so kind. The rooms are charming and clean. I was travelling alone and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. "

"Very comfortable stay. Looked the cocktails in the bar on the roof and the great cooked breakfast there each morning. Loved the shower and the bathroom was pretty great altogether. Bed seemed higher off the ground than usual but it wasn't much of an issue. Slept very comfortably! Location's good for anywhere in the city centre, especially once we discovered the easy access lift that goes straight into the arcade below. "

"Entire break was excellent. Let down by queuing for breakfast at Steak on Six as they looked under staffed. Made all meal bookings at reception when checking in but first nights meal at Pad was not in their system. They were full so squeezed us into a table but not what you would expect. Apart from these minor issues the overall stay was excellent and staff are tremendous "
