"This was our first time staying in a Mercure. The location was ideal for us, close to the centre but not too busy and more reasonable price. The lounge and bar downstairs was lovely. Nice Christmas decorations too. Check in was easy and efficient. Room was great, very clean, everything we needed. The layout, tv and bathroom felt more modern and slightly more high end compared to a Premier Inn. We will definitely stay at a Mercure again!"

"We have stayed prior to this visit,I am very fussy with beds and pillows,but,I love the Plaza ones,normally,I will go for a swim,forgot my bathers.Also,the Christmas atmosphere was lovely."

"We checked in on time. The hotel looked after our luggage before check in & after we'd checked out. The room was clean and warm. The staff here were absolutely fantastic and the service from everyone was excellent. We would definitely stay here again."
