"The house was exactly as the photos show - well equipped, clean and comfortable with a view over the marina and the river. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits."

Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. "we had a great day, Luca was extremely accommodating and provided to travel cots for us as we had two babies with us. We love the small little touches in the property. Very close to all the local amenities literally walking distance from Cambridge city centre. The property was nice and clean, The parking being walking distance was a slight issue, but with two babies, but we managed to work around it"

"Carl's house was great for our family trip. We had everything we needed, Carl is a great host, he was there to welcome us & showed us around. The location was ideal, with plenty of shops & restaurants. "

Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. "While there was some confusion and anxiety on our first day regarding fees, and the exterior of the property was unkempt, the stay was good and our host provided excellent communications. I would add that the furniture is inusually well-used."

"Quaint cottage sums it up perfectly. The little courtyard sun trap was a real bonus. The cottage is comfortable and convenient and the hosts were happy to attend to any need. Cambridge is beautiful with a real vibe of ernest progress, we really enjoyed our stay."

"I hesitate to write negative reviews, but need to make sure the next renters understand the house properly. The House is literally attached to, and behind, the Mermaid Takeaway on Green End Road. Looking at google maps, a new unit has been built to replace the small storage shed shown, and the green space in front of the house is now the back patio of that unit (not your unit). "Good location close to town centre. Parking is great. Well equiped house, easy for a family."

"A good location for a quick stay. Everything was clean. Lovely bathroom, handy to have an onsite washing machine. Beds were fine. We didn’t cook during our stay, so the simple kitchen setup fit our needs. Enjoyed the large sliding patio door access to the fenced in backyard. Location is a ways away from city center, so depending on the nature of your visit that might be a consideration. Overall pleased with our visit. "

"Stayed for a few days after Christmas. Ages from 7 to 68, and all felt comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Able to cook large roast dinner. Smaller oven a little difficult to access but can be done. Hot tub loved by all. Microwave, games machine, large Tv all available. Large enclosed garden. Owner reply’s to enquiries almost immediately. Excellent service. Thank you very much."

"Plentiful parking in the main Raptor Foundation car park. Check in was easy, in the building which is also a gift shop. The room (room 3) was huge - microwave and fridge included. Bathroom was a wet room which I thought might be very cold but the room is centrally heated, including the bathroom. Shower isn’t very powerful but does the job.
