"Very convenient location, close to M11 (5 min drive) and Park and Ride (10 min walk) but noise wasn't an issue as it was constant in the back ground, almost white noise. Rooms good, clean and with a bit of character. Grounds of the house lovely with avenue of trees to drive up to the building, and walk clearly signposted to local pub (20 mins walk, mainly through fields and woodland). Very pleasant stay."

"Very nice and comfortable. Tea in a real teapot was wonderful. Included breakfast was also great. Wi-Fi in the room was spotty but understandable given the antique architecture but wonderful and fast to work in the glass house observatory."

"Great check in, lovely room and friendly staff. We had a double double which was great for a family stay. Breakfasts were great and my daughter really enjoyed the pancake machine."
