"We had a wonderful time staying along the beautiful Kennebec River. Chris was very punctual with his thoughtful responses to my questions before and during our stay. If you're thinking about visiting in the winter, my only recommendation would be to come with good winter tires or AWD/4WD. The drive is fairly steep and although very well maintained by the plowing contractor, it is tricky when covered in 6". Gorgeous area, we will be back!"

"First time to Maine from Canada to visit Baxter State park. Had a Great stay at this motel. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful during check-in and rooms were ckean and had great appalcian style cabin feel. Wpuld definately stay here again. Thanks!"

"This was the second time I’ve stayed here. The first was last summer with my son for an ATV trip and this latest one I was by myself to visit family, friends and to do some snowmobiling. It’s the perfect place for all these activities. Right on the ATV/snowmobile trails and about 25 minutes from Moosehead Lake. The cabin was super clean and well stocked with the basic amenities and much more. Heidi was super responsive to my communications and very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here!"
