"This B&B has spacious rooms with views of distant mountains and nearby hill towns. The Borgo has country charm, and the dining area has beautiful stone walls that are warmly lit and accented with antiques. The optional evening meals were delicious; be sure to make a dinner reservation a day in advance. The Abbateggio foothills are laced with narrow roads that your navigation system may tell you take. Avoid them. To stay on the wide main road, set your first destination to San Valentino, and then reset your system for Borgo San Martino. The final half-mile is on a bumpy country road you’ll get used to with time. For pet lovers, the owners of the Agriturismo have a delightful menagerie of dogs, cats, and kittens who all want to be your best friend.
