"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property for a short weekend getaway, and it was exactly what I needed for a peaceful and rejuvenating break. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how serene the area is—surrounded by nature, yet close enough to explore local spots. The house itself was a true gem—cozy, inviting, and impeccably clean.What I loved most was the feeling of being at home. The living room was so comfortable that we spent hours just drinking, chatting and playing board games. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made it easy to prepare food (bring Baileys!) The outdoor patio was another highlight. We spent some time in the evening enjoying wine as the sun set over the lake. Looking forward to experiencing more activities on the lake when the weather is warmer.The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive. They made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us great recommendations for local hikes and activities. It’s clear they care deeply about creating a welcoming space for guests. For a relaxing weekend away, this property was perfect and I would absolutely return!"

"Wonderful lakefront cabin. Very comfortable and had everything we needed, with a lot of extras! Everything was super clean. The shoreline is perfect with a little sand and then transitions to rocks. But they are smooth and pretty flat. The deck at the cabin was amazing. We spent so much by time sitting out there eating, reading,and playing cards"

"We were absolutely thrilled when we arrived at this home for our weekend vacation! We couldn’t believe how much space there was for our family of 4 (plus 2 friends and a dog) to spread out! The pictures are great but it was even more perfect than we had imagined! So much room to play yard games and have a fire without feeling like we were surrounded by people. The woods in the back gave a perfect place to walk our dog around and also made it feel like we were on our own private property. We enjoyed dinners at home and even played cards at the large dining table and watched a movie on TV on the expansive couch! A short drive down the road had us grocery shopping in Central Lake, eating in Alden, and renting a pontoon in Rapid City to enjoy a full day on Torch Lake! My only disappointment was that we didn’t rent the property for an entire week! We are looking forward to renting again next year! What a perfect way to close out our summer vacation! "
