"Our stay was fabulous. We arrived to be greeted by Richard the owner. Richard had a wonderful warm welcome for us. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. Th breakfast was fantastic but what blew us away was the cleanliness of the hotel. We had tea coffee and drinking water in the room as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and Richard you need to increase you room rates. Thank you for a wonderful stay can’t wait to or back. Marion and Roseanne "

"A fabulous stop on the Camino for our family. Made use of the swimming pool (but remember to bring swim caps as they are 5 euros to purchase on site). Spacious rooms. Incredibly comfortable beds. Fabulous breakfast buffet. "

"Loved our one night stay here. Wish it had been two. Our suite was absolutely beautiful with one of the most comfortable beds of our month long Portugal travels. We had dinner at the on site restaurant and the food and service were both excellent. Only suggestion is to have salt and pepper shakers rather than the paper packets. Next time I'm any where near this hotel, I will be staying here."

"It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. "
