"Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult. "

"Stayed here with wider family, the staff are welcoming and being able to use the facilities before check in time is really helpful when the party is travelling from different places. The rooms were clean and the lounge area was spacious with a good menu. Breakfast food was good quality but service was slow and limited ‘help yourself’ item options (possibly it was busy and there was a lack of restocking). Overall we would stay again. "

"A quiet , comfortable and cosy hotel which is ideal for exploring the local 1066 countryside and beyond into the south coast at Hastings, Bexhill, Rye areas It’s small, but everything they do is great The staff are lovely I particularly want to commend Toby for being so accommodating and helpful after I checked in very late one evening I’ve already booked to come back when I’m next in the area "

"The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made. The selection & quality of the produce at breakfast was outstanding - locally sourced & we would thoroughly recommend the home mage Granola with berry compote - exceptional.
