"Really enjoyed our visit on 11th April. Booked the Keld room for one night. 3rd visit to the hotel. Very comfortable room on the first floor looking down to the front garden and moors opposite. Hotel has a rear garden with superb views as well. No lifts on property. Excellent service, superb breakfast. Many rooms have seperate bathroom ( private ). Haven't had an evening meal here. Main drop of Redmire Force. Heather Florence running the main drop of Redmire Force in lowish water on a Swaledale Outdoor Club trip. Although this is a nice enough level at which to run the Force, it is a bit low for the rest of the trip from Aysgarth to Wensley. Compare with 1189911 with a water level ideal for most of the river, but too high to provide acceptable safety cover to run Redmire Force.
