"The best (perhaps the only) luxury hotel in Ortigia. Excellent location on the sea within walking distance to the everything. Very nice rooms. We had a Garamond Jr. Suite. "A really peaceful stay in a very well equipped resort. We stayed in a superior suite which was absolutely excellent and the food on offer was always to a high standard. We had a car so it was easy to visit the neighbouring towns and villages but without a car it would have been impossible. Therefore, if you want to see more than just the hotel you do need a rental. Overall very pleased."

"Definitely not a 5 or 4 star. It felt like they stop on their way to finish the whole thing. It is nice but not nice. No pry told us check out is at 10 AM (I mean I travel non stop and NEVER saw a hotel with check out at 10. They wanted to charge us cause we left a few minutes late… since they didn’t tell us. Finally dinner was basic and overpriced. I would say 3 stars at max. I suggest you go elsewhere. Very hard to get too. "
