"Proper Country House Hotel. Great looking place. Staff all v friendly and helpful at every touch point from reception to the gym to the bar. Don't forget your Golf clubs (like I did) as great driving range if you don't want to play 18holes (with separate golf bar) Rooms spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit hard for my taste but blackout curtains work well! 😉"

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "It was our 2nd time at the hotel . This time we brought two friends for a long weekend. We paid extra for half board . The food is always 10/10 . Choices are excellent. Breakfast is always excellent. Swimming pool, jacuzzi was amazing , came out totally relaxed . Staff are amazing, super helpful and always happy 10/10 . We stayed In a garden room .
