"This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."

"We were upgraded to a very nice and large suite which was great. Very comfortable. Amazing but rather open plan bathroom which was fine, other than the open plan toilet (which had no door). Dining was good and enjoyable. Large swimming pool. Understaffed at times. Overall recommended. "

"Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect. Only said to discover I couldn't stay more days as they close mid week in the winter. That was a first ever surprise. In any...
