"Check-in took forever as it was a busy time and they only had 2 staff available. We had a 3 night stay byt our room was only cleaned on one of those days. To be fair we could have had a clean at 5pm on one of those days but we had been out all day and arrived back just when the cleaner was about to get to us. "Wow. The Royce is on the level of some of the best hotels I have stayed in. Think the Surrey and the Mark in New York, but at a fraction of the price. The room was gorgeous Art Deco modern. Spacious bathroom. Nice sheets and bed. Lovely balcony looking out through the trees onto green grounds. The restaurant was excellent; good dishes and excellent service. The bar was our favorite. It is also gorgeous and has plenty of room to spread out and relax. "
