And everything in the old town is walkable. The view of the river was amazing! Best view not just at sunset, but also at night and in the morning. The room size was adequate and it was spotless. "Could not fault this hotel. Came for a 3- night stay with my husband as we had never been to Riga before. This hotel made our trip. It is perfectly located, in walking distance to everything, clean and warm. The spa is outstanding - the pool is heated to around 31 degrees which is lovely. The sauna, gym, steam room etc sew so immaculate (look new) and largely empty. Rooms are spacious and really well equipped - no niggles (enough coathangers, plugs and mirrors in the right places, tea and coffee etc, usb ports - all well thought out). Service was also impeccable and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend. "

"Lovely traditional hotel in centre of the old city. Room was really nice and large (business room), though bathroom could do with a bit of updating. Breakfast room was wonderful, food really nice and cute parrot! Staff member at check in was super helpful and friendly and so were the breakfast staff and housekeeper. Would stay again when next in Riba. Top quality hotel in the Riga old town."
