"Honestly, we were most excited about this stay on our honeymoon and it was a miss. This was our 3rd Michelin key hotel of our trip and it truly did not compare to the others. The grounds were beautiful, but the service and overall experience wasn’t. The missing piece to describe it all was lack of attentiveness. Don’t get duped into their half board rate - there are local restaurants despite them saying that there aren’t (there are two in the village within a three minute walk!). I was very upset that I was convinced to pay 55 euro each for HB upon arrival (after being told there were no restaurants nearby) but when I asked to cancel the HB fee the following day I was told...

"Lovely relaxing stay. Room was very comfortable and clean, with everything done to a very high end property. It was a bit windy and overcast when we were there (and the pool was a touch on the cold side), so we used it mainly as a base. We had one nice afternoon by the pool though, and ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. All in all, a great stay."
