"For an older hotel the Stamford Plaza is in good shape. Very tidy, with comfortable rooms and lots of them facing the river. In house restaurant options were great, staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for the purposes of my trip, close to the river and near the places I needed to visit by walking."

"Overall a nice stay with meriton once again. Staff are friendly and easy to check in and out. There are limited food options nearby and you do need to walk 15 mins or so towards cbd. In general brisbane is pretty quiet at night time in the city. Will stay here again for my yearly business trip."

"Wonderful hotel in a very central location. It’s next door to the central train station and easy to walk anywhere within CBD. Excellent customer service. The breakfast is exceptional and like the wise dinner buffer (little on the expensive side). "

"We enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly. Restaurant and facilities were very well presented. The only thing I can knock on was the room itself... The restroom was updated, but the rest of the room and carpet looks dated, the TV is on a cheap stand alone TV stand... I just expected a little more from a Hilton. The King bed was very comfortable, overall we would still stay there again and recommend it.... your not spending most of your day in the room anyway, let's be honest."

"Small bed in a bigish room, should be a king, would feel much more comfortable and special. Complimentary water should be Complimentary, read the small print cost $5 per bottle if your not a member."

"Great stay for the Rugby. Convenient to Suncorp Staduim & XXXX brewery. Right across from the Caxton Hotel. Staff were lovely. Amenities a little old, small rooms, no real bathroom doors. No pillow menu or daily paper as advertised. But would definitely stay there again. "

"Easy check in. Clean property and great service. The only drawback was that we were given a room which had a connecting door to another room. Not sure it’s because of this but there was a lot of noise coming through the door. Other than that it was great "
