'Flue Bridge' at Langley The Smelt Mill at Langley was built in 1767. When the Hexham to Allendale Railway came along 100 years later, this bridge was built to carry the flue over the line to the Chimney on high ground to the SE at Stublick. A remaining part of the flue is still visible at the end of the bridge.
