There were chairs on a covered front porch that we shared with one other unit. This is not a fancy hotel but it more than met our needs for an overnight stay. The room was clean and I felt safe. It’s a good property for travelers with children. "

"It was very clean, quiet and safe with easy access to our car. We were welcomed and introduced to our room very nicely. The outdoor patio area was vety basic, and as the sun was bearing down hard on the patio and our room, we could not sit outside and enjoy the evening there (as we'd anticipated). The facilities otherwise were good, although perhaps a bit dated. "

"We spent our Christmas days in the thoughtfully styled bach of Martin and Sharon. It was very relaxing as it is just out of town. The little walk in the lush bush on the property made for a nice after-lunch stroll. An evening swim in the heated pool made it feel even more holiday like. We hadn't realised there was not stove, so cooking was the only small challenge. We had a recharging few days in Otaki and would definitely recommend a stay! "
