However the room was not spectacular and the housekeeping were casual, sometimes seated on the floor in the hallways, and often left vacuums and other cleaning equipment just laying on the floor for extended periods. The staff were welcoming, and the convenient parking added to the experience. I also loved the spacious rooms, which included two bathrooms. "I liked the friendly and helpful staff, nice furnishings in the apartments and adequately stocked with all the necessities for such accommodation! The bed was comfortable with very nice bed linen! Like the proximity to Sandton City and Mandela Sq! All in all I thought the Raphael was very good value for money! I did not like the view from my room.. faced the wall (but at least it wasn’t concrete and plain, but would have preferred a city view! "
