"This beautiful property maintains its historic charms and the location can’t be beat. The staff is very accommodating and treats the guests with utmost respect. The furnishings need some good cleaning but of course they are trying to keep the old world style which can be a challenge. Breakfast was lovely and the bar service was top notch. Expensive but worth the splurge."

"This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."

"We were upgraded to a very nice and large suite which was great. Very comfortable. Amazing but rather open plan bathroom which was fine, other than the open plan toilet (which had no door). Dining was good and enjoyable. Large swimming pool. Understaffed at times. Overall recommended. "

"The terrace junior suite is directly next to the kitchen so whilst trying to unwind you hear the kitchen team shouting.Dog poo not picked up all over the grounds from owners dog.Food first night great second night inedible fish with a plate of olive oil and red cauliflower emulsion.Safari trip a waste of money non English speaking guide who spoke for 30 mins on our Google translate how dragon flies eat mosquitoes then the flamingoes were binoculars abt a mile into the sea.Ants everywhere in room...
