"Was fine. A very nice 4- 5 star International quality hotel in a great location. The only downside: we arrived 2 hours after check in time, and the room still wasnt ready. Though they put is in the lounge with FOC drinks, it was still a further 2 hours before it was ready. Reason given: the hotel was overbooked. Sorry but i dont regard that as acceptable. That is an organisational issue on the hotels' part and if circumstances of our trip had been different, could have been a real problem. "

"Nice hotel but must question if it really is a 5 star! More like a 4 star. Our room was quite small which ended up meaning one had to sit on the bed so the other person could get to the bathroom. The view from our room was of air conditioning units siting on a roof. Pillows not to our liking but that’s a personal preference. Baba restaurant was amazing and I would def eat here again. Staff in the hotel are very attentive."

"This hotel/apartment was in the heart of everything. There were multiple coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs all a short walk away. When I come back to Edinburgh I would stay here again. "

"Great central location and staff were friendly - doorman David was particularly helpful and kind. The hotel is nicely designed though only minor downside was felt spa area could have been a bit better maintained e.g. cleanliness (tissue in pool) and corridors were a bit flooded and though hotels fault per se, people kept mixing up robes. The rooms are nice and spacious and the stocked complimentary mini bar was a nice touch. Although we never got the chance for the hotels drinks offer we heard...
