"Gorgeous hotel with outstanding service. Felt like royalty from the moment we arrived until saying the last good byes. Irene, the concierge, spent considerable time highlighting sights, restaurants, and bodegas to visit. Seemed genuinely glad to help. From the always smiling bellhops, front desk staff, breakfast staff, to the cleaning help, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The only very small negative was someone in the bar who ran after us as we stepped into the elevator concerned...

The spa/sauna needs to be reserved per use and was a bit inconvenient as we were instructed to come down in bathrobes and slippers. But it was mostly empty and easy to access. "Nice hotel, although little worn and not maybe fully 5 star worthy. It would have been great if the pools (or at least one) of the outdoor pools would be heated. But it was nice to have small indoor pool (spa area was not open for kids). Food was good and kids club and entertainment very nice! Right next to beach and boulevard. Nice shops and cafes nearby. "

"I must say that this hotel is definitely not a 5 star category. There is no air-conditioning in the lobby or the lifts. the staff were rude and not friendly at all.
