This is a cute little place (I forgot the name and didn't take the picture of the posting! So if anyone knows please help). In was on route 7 leaving Hanmer Springs on the way to Christchurch. The men was sitting on the porch with his Australian shepherd dog ( black and white). Anyway food is good, you can walk through the winery. The people are great and you can buy great wine from there.
