Parking- not at all clear when I booked that parking was no where near the hotel - I recognize that the hotel is in the “historic district” but so were all the other hotels we stayed at on this trip. One offered to “register your car for your stay” and then offered valet parking while others offered detailed maps to offsite parking / provided entry codes and parking spots/ and free pick up via golf cart or...

"This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. Also great the breakfastr buffet"
