"The estate is beautiful, unfortunately we could could dine only one night in the restaurant due to refurbishment works in the restaurant. However the breakfast during our entire stay in the restaurant was excellent. Rooms were decent. Loved the patio on the backside of room over looking the green garden. Staff was friendly. "We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year.
