"Lovely property overlooking the Green.. rooms were very well decorated and seemed very opulent.. the room we had though felt a little cramped.. the bed was very big. But was awkward to get around.. the tv should be on the wall.. the bed was so high off the ground that you couldnā€™t see the tv properly! And my biggest bug bear in hotels etcā€¦ no dressing area.. no where to sit to dry hair etc!! But the hotel was very clean.. staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovelyā€¦ easy...

"I expected to be able to have a meal as the details indicated a restaurant but there was no evening food available. As they had few guests they also closed the bar at 7.30 pm. Odd as when I booked it indicated that there was limited availability. The hotel is pretty basic. The room was clean though and decent breakfast. This has slightly dented my trust in the accuracy of details provided on Expedia. I had been travelling around the north of England and this was the least value for money."

"First impressions weren't great as there's a large sheet of wallpaper hanging off the wall, and a few issues with damp/paint peeling throughout, nothing a bit of maintenance can't fix. For the amount paid, and comparing to other accomodations stayed in, I wouldnt class it as value for money. The frying pan isnt an induction pan, so doesn't work with the hob. There's very little information about the property so the oven was tricky to use first time. The hot water ran out after 2 showers, which...
