"W e had an excellent stay at this hotel. The property is modern, beautifully designed, and built with sustainability in mind. The rooms are stylish, featuring new furnishings and exceptionally comfortable beds. Our spa experience was also very enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety, including vegetarian and vegan options, in addition to allergy labelling. The only minor issue was that the eggs Benedict we ordered from the menu came with bacon, even though it wasn’t mentioned—but my husband still enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist lady at the check-in. A lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of wine we received. Overall, a wonderful experience—we would happily return! "

"Truly a five star experience. All staff from reception desk to restaurant were very welcoming and helpful. An absolute delight. Just to mention a few - Pascalis, Edvin, Adonis, Charles, and quite frankly all the staff we came in contact with, went above and beyond. Its just a pity i can't recall all their names. The gentleman in the restaurant on Februrary 16th night, made us feel so welcome and at home. It was unexpected and such a genuine gesture. Room has all you need including complimentary drinks, water, wine. What's not to like? Complimentary robes and slippers, tooth brush and paste. Rooms and toilets exceptionally clean. Breakfast options quite varied and of high quality. You will definitely find lots to eat. The Athenuem hotel is a touch of class and the staff are truly special. I will highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you guys for making our stay beautiful 😍 "

"The hotel has been renovated since I last stayed about 6 years ago. The room and breakfast was good, the staff friendly and there was a very nice bar/restaurant on the roof with a fantastic view of the acropolis. Although I did not use it in February I noticed a pleasant sitting area and pool outside on the ground floor. Good value."
