"We had a wonderful time at No. 5 from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and modern whilst being right in nature. We were very well looked after by the staff especially Frankie who went above and beyond every day even helping us organise trips and buy tickets and driving us to the entrance of the national park. The indoor swimming pool is not open year round like I thought though and the restaurants close earlier during non-peak travel season so rely on room service if you want food late (it was good food)."

"If you want to stay in the country side with no room service, no restaurant, outdoor bathroom (which I don’t recommend in the winter) then this is the hotel for you. It is probably not the best option for tourists that are visiting Zhangjiajie as it in an isolated area. The hotel itself is clean, and the views are amazing! "The staff was friendly and polite; however, the room was not the cleanest nor the most comfortable. The carpet was pretty stained up and the bathroom only had 1/4 a roll of toliet paper.
