"My partner and I stayed at the Macquarie 4 Star (locals referred to it as 'The Club') for one night in room 007. Access to the property, parking, and check-in was very easy. There wasn't much to do at check-in other than receive the key cards, give them my contact details, and choose whether we wanted to pre-book the buffet breakfast (not included with room, additional $20pp if pre-booked or $25pp if you show up unannounced). I was a bit miffed at the venue for charging my card a few days...

"Property was lovely large apartment, is getting a little old and tired and paint peeling outside on veranda area, pool facility is fabulous as is onsite restaurant. The fold out bed the provide is a proper single with proper big mattress so fine for an adult. We were there when a conference was on and unfortunately they were very loud outside your room and in corridor’s all night . Being a golf resort if your in ground level near gold shop and restaurant you get woken up from 5.30 on with people...

"Good size room, clean and modern bathroom and good size bed. Comfortable and convenient. One point would be the ability to dim or turn of the lights outside the balcony doors or put heavier curtains up as the light is very bright and permiates into the room, which disturbed my sleep. Overall a very pleasant stay. "

"Plenty of space being a two-story townhouse. The bedrooms were comfy. You were close to everything and easy to get an Uber to get around. The only negative we went to make breakfast and there wasn’t enough dinning plates or sharp knives to cut anything. More glassware would be great. "

"Check in is a nightmare. Messages from 2 different mobile numbers, requests for details (phot of ID and selfies) outside of Hotels app and has to download another app to be able to access in addition to 2 codes for the entry doors. Key fob provided only once in the apartment and if you don’t have this you still need the separate app and 1 of the 2 codes. Advertised as a 3 bedroom and when we went upstairs to set up the cot in a room, the 3rd bedroom is a study nook at the top of the stairs...
