"Just a one night break but was excellent. Staff are very attentive, food amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The brasserie staff did an excellent job as they were also super friendly and provided super fast service with a smile as did the staff on the terrace . Customer service is very much alive at this hotel."

The garden areas in the lodge where we were staying were largely overgown and uncared for which was a shame. The staff were excellent and very helpful. "Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"My husband and I stayed in room 6 which is rather special. It is a huge room with a lovely oval bath in the bedroom and separate shower and WC with two hand basins.
