Our room, although small, was elegantly furnished and had a spacious shower room. The staff provided warm hospitality and the food/wine was exceptional. The secluded outdoor pool and beautiful gardens were fantastic too, and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day cycling around wineries. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay."

"We arrived on Christmas Day and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The guest house has a great location and is in a quiet area, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in Stellenbosch. I would add an area of shade on the roof terrace. However, my friend and I both booked here, his room was significantly larger than mine for the same price. "

"We had a lovely couple of nights here whilst we explored the surrounding Stellenbosch area. We were travelling with our baby and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff - they had thoughtfully put a mosquito net over the cot they had set up for her and there was a high chair ready and set up every morning when we came down for breakfast - we really appreciated these touches. The property is a beautiful little oasis with a pretty garden and pool. There are also helpful amenities...

"I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention."
