"Place is great. A haven in the chaos of jakarta. Close to nice attractions, but the endless trafic and pollution of the area ruins the whole thing. But thats jakarta. "In the hotel, although some of the decorations were tacky because of Lunar New Year. Which has the power because it was close to the Historic Dutch colonial area of Jakarta, which was huge disappointment. The doorman insisted on calling us a taxi instead of letting us go to the street, said it would be four minutes, and 15 minutes later said the taxi had canceled and he would call another. We walked out in the street and held a taxi in less than one minute. The breakfast buffet was beautiful...

The room is spacious and very comfy. Breakfast was amazing and I really like their coffee. Service is something that all Tugu hotels share, always warm, genuine, and caring. To me, this is the perfect weekend getaway hotel."
