The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. "Our family stayed at Swartberg Country Manor for one night in February. The first thing that greeted us was the beautiful grounds, and restaurant with a stunning view of the mountain. Then we saw a beautiful historic house with a big old stoep; here we enjoyed 3 very comfortable rooms. And let me not forget the kind and professional staff, including their head chef who made the most wonderful 3 course dinner! A gem! Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"The drive up to the hotel off of the main paved road requires driving along a poorly conditioned dirt road. That part had us wondering where we had booked, but after the road - literally everything was top rated! The Staff was very friendly and accommodating and they provide a great deal of extra touches which indicate this 4 start place to be better rated as a 5 star place! "Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "
