"Generally we had a good experience. There were some things in our room. Jets on tub didn’t work and the bathroom had a bad smell the last couple days. Food was good with several attractive options! Good value for the price."

"This hotel is a great homebase especially if you do not have a car, yet like to explore. It’s on the edge of the plaza, walkable to every little calle, shop, and restaurant in San Jose. Right away the staff makes you comfortable; Christian remembered my name when I returned days later to listen to music after the art walk. "The newly renovated Tropicana was having a soft opening. Staff was a little green and not all the rooms were open. That said it is still a lovely place and a wonderful location to visit old town San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very anxious to make our stay overnight a wonderful experience and they did! Have stayed at the Tropicana off and on for 30 years!"

"Beautiful stay if you're looking for something off the beaten path. Food was wonderful, pool area was beautiful, the yoga deck was a wonderful place to read and we had the beach all to ourselves the three days we were there. Surf shop you can walk to for board rentals. "

" I recently stayed at GR Solaris Lighthouse in Los Cabos, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcome and cared for. The cleanliness throughout the resort was impeccable, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. The resort’s amenities were top-notch, and the stunning views of the Sea of Cortez were truly breathtaking. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the delicious food at their restaurants, or simply taking in the serene ambiance, every moment was a delight. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. GR Solaris Lighthouse exceeded all my expectations, and I can’t wait to return for another relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in Los Cabos!"
