"A large modern hotel on the East side of the village with a lovely harbor view, nice outdoor pool ( chilly in early April) and indoor pool and gym. The breakfast is great. Ask for a sea view room. There are several inexpensive decent restaurants just down the street from the Hotel the Vila Velha being the best (more expensive). Walk out on the undeveloped rocky point to big cliffs overlooking the sea and have a picnic. "

"Easy check in. Friendly staff. Nice room. While parking was not included, it was easy to park in front of the hotel and it was free. Nice breakfast. Short walk to the beach. Good location. Quiet. Stayed 3 nights and would go back. Spent 2 weeks in the Algarve, changing city and hotel every 3 days and this place was my favorite."

"We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was very clean. I liked that the staff contacted me the day I was checking in to let me know the apartment was ready before the official check in time. I think all rooms face the pool because there isn’t much of a view. Downgraded the rating a bit because the kitchen tap had lukewarm water and the bathroom was a bit dated. "Awesome house right on the beach! Less than a 2 minute walk from the main Salema area with some restaurants and shops. The house is great with lots of amenities and space. Usually the listing pictures exaggerate the size, but with this place, the listing pictures didn’t do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Daily housekeeping, a fridge stocked with soda and wine, and even a rooftop deck overlooking the ocean with nice loungers. I’d definitely stay here again. "
