"The property itself is beautiful! The other two bright spots about this resort are the pool and the gym. Hands down the best hotel gym I have been to in a long time. The downsides of this property is it feels pretty run down in places. In the main hallway a door wouldn't shut so it was always very cold walking to the lobby. Our room was pretty rough. "Buffalo Thunder was Wonderful New Years Eve in 2015 and again on Christmas Vacation in 2024. I know this may not be mentioned enough but Maid Service was Excellent! (And Very Much Appreciated) The only negative was All Front Desk personnel were Non-Smiling and Non-Welcoming at Check In and Check Out. Otherwise, Buffalo Thunder is a Wonderful Resort.
