"I visited this hotel on business recently and I was surprised how nice it was. They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. The staff were very friendly and chatty and were also extremely attentive and professional. Prices of food were on the expensive side however it was of very very good quality. "Check in was problematic. Although I'd booked using an Amex through Expedia, the hotel does not actually take this method of payment. This led to an embarrassing situation when my alternative card could not be accepted by their system. Luckily a separate terminal appeared and I was able to pay but all round, a poor check in experience which left me embarrassed in front of my partner."

There was a separate quiet room to relax in afterwards complete with fire ! Breakfast was equally as good and the whole experience was a delight. I'm so glad I chose that hotel."
