"Hotel was very nice, but the dining options are a 25 Euro buffet, or order from the snack menu at the bar, pizza, burgers and such by no later than 6 pm. 25 Euros is crazy for us as we eat very little. Not worth it. 6 pm was too eatly. Thankfully there is a decent little sandwich shop right across the street which suited us fine for the night at under 8 euros for the two of us including a beer and a wine. We don't mind paying more for a meal, but 25 euros for a buffet seems excessive, especially...

"Beautiful building around the old walls. Terrific museum on site which is well worth a visit. Breakfast was very average and staff not very friendly. Ordered a vodka and tonic from the bar to be told they had none. Receptionist was extremely nice which made up somewhat for the rest of the staff. "

"We stayed over during winter time (December) to check ou the Hotel for an event in May. The surroundings are gorgeous and you can feel the calm of Alentejo right in. The food is absolutely delicious and staff very friendly and available. A note: majority of the rooms does not have bathroom door, which came a bit as a surprise. The suites do have door but are in need of a little TLC in the bathroom to bring it to a 5* review hotel. Overall a lovely stay and will be able to stay again!"
