"We had a great time at Vinilia, the castle, surroundings and pool are wonderful. Our room had modern amenities with an Italian style. We had dinner at their restaurant Casamatta, chef Pietro Penna tribute to his cuisine and journey was outstanding, breakfast was the perfect starting of the day with delicious bread and fruits. "We actually extended our stay as we loved this beautiful hotel. The village is small and a car is required but lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We loved the spa - incredibly relaxing and very cost effective. The hotel room is large with lots of storage and has fridge. Gorgeous bathroom. But the highlight was our breakfasts with Giovanni. "Overnight stay close to Brindisi-Taranto highway. Set in farmland, but close enough to the highway to hear the noise of traffic but not oppressively so.. The property itself was furnished to a good standard and finishes were impressive. My room looked out over the pool which was beautiful. There was a lack of power points in the room, but the wifi worked. Huge property but quite empty due to the time of year. Probably comes to life in season. "

"The best thing about this hotel is the food which really is 5 stars for an inclusive. The staff are a little money hungry and react negatively when asking for a glass with ice. "We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was clean and beautiful. Pool is nice, quiet and plenty of room to sit and relax. Staff is very nice and helpful. It’s a short walk from Santa Catarina either by the road (without for cars) or through this unbelievable path through the forest that is just beautiful. Small beaches are near by or it’s a short drive to porto selvaggio (watch out for sea urchins) or the gorgeous Caipirina Beach. We will be staying here again and we highly recommend it."

"It was a nice place, big old house with a big garden with several "houses" in it - otherwise known as the hotel rooms. The pool area was good and bar staff excellent and the breakfast and dinner in the big old house were ok but not special. However it was a distance from the beach, a car ride, and from the town, a 40 minute walk. Nogt sure we would be rushing back. "
