"Stayed @ the hotel before. Good breakfast lots of choices. Room and beds(two singles) are basic but comfortable. Bathroom could use an update. The bath tub shower combination ended up giving issues with water running onto the floor. Would prefer a plain shower stall and no tub. Got some issues with the electronic key. 3 time I had to go back to reception for a new key.. as the old one locked me out. From my understanding from the reception person it seems to happen often. "

"Nice location, beautiful surroundings and nice, new hotel… The breakfast was well stocked… The bed was a bit soft and lumpy in our double bed room… I would suggest going with a queen size bed instead. Also, it’s weird that they have a coffee machine in the rooms but don’t provide one free water bottle for a stay of 2 nights… strange. Otherwise, it was fun! "

"The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment but even the older rooms are of a good standard. Friendly, helpful staff. Car parking is across the road at the station but the daily rate is acceptable. Handy for the rail station. 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. I will use this place again. "

"Perfect location. Easy Self checkin-in. Friendly owners whom went out of their way to bring us a grand breakfast as we had a competition, so we left 45mins before breakfast started. Love the 50’s room. (Soundproof as there was a music festival near the harbour, though our room was at the back). Welcome drinks in room.
